Horseshoe Crab Monitoring Training 2010

Horseshoe Crab Monitoring Training

Greetings all,

Just a quick email to remind everyone that training for our upcoming 2010 Horseshoe Crab monitoring project will take place on Thursday, April 29th at 7pm. This year, training will take place at Conaskonck Point Park  in Union Beach, situated right along Raritan Bay . The park is located where Front Street & Dock Street meet. There is a gravel parking lot. Training should not take more than an hour.

Please show up if you are available even if you participated last year. It is important that we recap certain procedures and policies for the monitoring project.

Also, please spread the word to family and friends that might be interested in volunteering their time on this citizen-science project. Unfortunately, my computer crashed last November and I lost more than a few names and email addresses from people that participated last year who were not affiliated with the watershed council. So please spread the word around again. Thanks!

Fair winds,

Joe Reynolds
