The program starts and stops with NJ Marine Science s Consortium .

Through public funds provided by the Clean Vessel Act they will reimburse

the owner/operator of record for vessel construction and provide

$2500/year in maintenance funding f or each of the mandated five years

of the program.

Baykeeper will file the application to establish and operate the program.

Baykeeper will specify and build the vessel via funding provided by KYC

to be reimbursed upon final accept ance of the vessel by NJMSC .

No financial activity occurs until NJMSC has reviewed / approved

the entire program.
