This working session served as a forum to gather community ideas about the content of the Dredged Material Management Plan, discuss appropriate options for beneficial use of dredged material, discuss appropriate dredging techniques for the area, and discuss various methods for community input.

Over 35 people attended the December public event.  This working session served as a forum to gather community ideas about the content of the Dredged Material Management Plan (DMMP), discuss appropriate options for beneficial use of dredged material, discuss appropriate dredging techniques for the area, and discuss various methods for community input.

We welcome you to attend and provide your valuable comments, ideas and suggestions.  Members of the public, elected officials, environmental commissioners, marina owners, harbor masters, and commercial and recreational boaters are encouraged to attend these forums and participate.

 

The Bayshore Regional Watershed Council and its partners have received grant funds from the NJ Department of Transportation, Office of Maritime Resources to create a regional Dredged Material Management Plan (DMMP) for the Bayshore region of Monmouth County, NJ.
