Where & When Middletown, NJ Saturday, September 26, 2009 10:00AM-1:00PM Meeting/parking area will be along Bray Avenue and cleanup is at Bray Avenue crossing of Pews Creek.

The NY/NJ Baykeeper, Bayshore Regional Watershed Council, and Middletown Environmental Commission invite citizens and organizations to participate in a cleanup of Pews Creek in the general area of Bray Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, NJ. The cleanup will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 10am to 1pm. The cleanup will remove the garbage and floatables that have accumulated along Bray Avenue and the flood control dyke at Pews Creek to prevent this material from entering the creek and floating to the Sandy Hook Bay. Since the cleanup will be along road and onto mud flat adjacent to Pews Creek during low tide be sure to wear appropriate clothing.
