Volunteer

Become a volunteer for the Bayshore Regional Watershed Council (BRWC) and you will make a difference in the future of the Bayshore region and in the quality of life for people from South Amboy and Raritan Bay, eastward to the Borough of Highlands and Sandy Hook Bay .

We are looking for people of all ages who share an interest in the restoration, protection, sustainable use, and enjoyment of our irreplaceable Bay culture, environment, and watershed.

The watershed council is entirely made up of volunteers who donate their time to improve the health of the bay ecosystem through education, advocacy, and research.

We need people to help clean up bay beaches during spring and fall Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweeps.

We need people to represent the BRWC at local planning board meetings, council meetings, and other government functions where the regional environment is being discussed.

We need people to help with outdoor restoration projects

We need people to help monitor our water quality in creeks and streams

We need people to be baywatchers to look out for polluters or illegal activities that do damage to the environment.

We need people to provide ideas on committees and projects

There is so much that needs to be done, not everything

can be listed .

Our hats always go off to people who volunteer, whose hard work makes for a cleaner

Raritan Bay - Sandy Hook Bay.

THANK YOU!
